In plating at Annan & Bird we impose jobs to the proper plate size and run an HP proof to ensure all lead edges, side guides, and colour bars, etc., are present, and that the jobs are accurate to press standards. Each job is plotted at the Creo and a CIP 3 file is sent to press to the preset-ink settings on the individual presses. This process enables faster make-readies. The plates are imaged and processed through the plate lines and then quality checked to signed off HOP's from clients.
